Argillite Skidgate This argillite carving is by Glen Pollard. It measures 2.5 inches in length, 1.5 inches in width and 2.5 inches in height. Glen was born in the Queen Charlotte Islands in 1957, the only location argillite is found. He is a Haida Native, one of the few native Alaskans who can mine and carve argillite.
